Announcement: Rainb0w now has a patreon

[crosspost from my patreon]

Hello everypony, Rainb0w Dashie here, and that’s Rainb0w with a zero not an o, and welcome to my Patreon!

I love to create, suffice to say. Doesn’t matter what, Music, art, stories, sculptures, doesn’t matter. As long as I’m creating something. In fact, I get very distressed if I go long enough without creating something. Almost like an animal instinct. Creating is my biggest passions in life, and with a bit of support I can continue learning and creating for a long time!

At the moment my biggest project is a Pony novel I’ve been working on since 2011, Our Day in Disdain, A thrilling exploration into ponies and psychological horror. Outside of that, I’m running an Ask Blog to sort-of showcase my improvements as I go through art school, Ask Lonershy, although I’m also developing an over-arching story for the blog and plan to expand on the cliche’d ‘loner’ arch I have for Fluttershy.

As well as these projects, I’m also experimenting with making pony music, MLP Analysis videos on Youtube, and plan to open art commissions once I get comfortable enough with my ability to art. I figured creating a patreon would be a good thing to have on the side, and a nice way of me properly thanking my followers and watchers by rewarding my patron supporters with drawings, as well as pother rewards.

My goal is to be able to actively work on all of these projects The money will go towards new equipment and motivation!

And thank you very very much for even considering supporting me!

Especially on the web, my favourite font is generally not the typeface youve chosen, not at the size youve used, and [although this gets away from fonts] not in the layout/width youve defined. In print Im more of the Monty Burns school: I know what I hate and I dont hate this! I do find, though, that if a book or website includes a colophon then Ill generally appreciate the choices; I suspect its because anyone who takes the time to write up a blurb about why theyve made a particular choice has obviously put some thought into the final product.

The following time I learn a weblog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to learn, however I actually thought youd have one thing fascinating to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about one thing that you possibly can fix if you happen to werent too busy searching for attention.

Chez, a million amens back to you, brother… however, why the fuck do you stay in the business? Take it from someone who put in 14 years in DMA #96 & #60… there is life on the other side. A GOOD life. Get out, dude – you are way too smart to be mired in this shit.

I haven’t watched the documentary end-to-end yet, but I agree it captures what I think OggCamp is all about. It is a marked contrast to the site I visited when deciding to attend this year. Just Imagine this documentary, Tony’s photos of the attendees and other curated material from Oggcamp12 in the “What is OggCamp?” section of the website

Breast milk is also good for eye infections. When my son was born he had chronic eye infections. Three months of doctor visits and prescription medication didn’t clear them up. One day an older lady (probably in her 60′s or 70′s) told me to put breast milk in his eyes. Although I was skeptical, I figured it wouldn’t hurt. She was right. Cleared up the infection completely.
